Dopo pokemon X e Y arriva un altro gioco d'avventura con pikachu?

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are just around the corner and soon fans will be able to step into the series’ sixth generation. Meanwhile, The Pokémon Company already have another game in the works that will revolve around the franchise’s most iconic character, Pikachu.

 

In a recent producer’s summary on NHK, they summarize the immense popularity of the Pokémon franchise that boasts a total sales figure of 4 trillion yen (roughly $41 billion) from all of the Pokémon goods, anime series, movies, and games.

 

Additionally, it was revealed by Pokémon producer and CEO of The Pokémon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara, that development began on a new game this summer, that will feature Pikachu.

 

While having a game based on Pikachu may seem like a win-win situation for the company and the players, Ishihara fears that if they don’t do a good job, it could possibly hurt the popularity of the long-loved electric rodent.

 

According to the producer, the game will be about a boy who takes on the world using “playfulness†as a weapon.

recentemente mi son letto sul sito chiamato silconera, e arrivato una notizia che la the pokemon company e al lavoro con un altro gioco della serie pokemon ma stavolta vestendo nei panni di pikachu e questa volta ci sara un umano antagonista che manifestera il pericolo nell gioco.

Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president of the Pokémon Company, will apparently showcase an unprecedented Pokemon game which apparently begun development this summer. The game is said to change Pikachu, and Ishihara is ultimately worried that this change will affect Pikachu’s popularity. Japanese fans have already begun speculating that the change may be "Mega Pikachu". Speculation is also rife that the game in question will be compatible with Pokemon X & Y, and Pikachu’s change could be carried over to these games.

Update 2: The description does appear to mention “new†game after all, but that could still be a reference to X/Y. Make of this what you will. It doesn’t make much sense for us to speculate any further!

Update: A second translation of NHK’s synopsis gives greater credence to something such as Mega Pikachu as opposed to an entirely new game:

“He was working on a game this summer, which would change/modify Pikachu… but since there are many people who have loved Pikachu for many years, he was/is worried that it’s popularity could drop all it once if not done right. What was his decision at that time?â€

Guess we’ll see what this is about on the 28th…

Original: Pokemon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara will be making an appearance on a Japanese television program on October 28th. A synopsis provided on NHK's webiste seems to reveal the existence of an unprecedented, unannounced Pokemon title – one with a heavy Pikachu focus.

The description mentions that the Pokemon project started development this summer. Supposedly, it will change Pikachu, and Ishihara has some concerns as to how this will affect the creature’s popularity.

Io non sopporto Pikachu,è inutile e non è forte e io non voglio essere un pikachu. Voglio che quel gioco sia per Wii U,così mia sorella non vorrà  averlo a tutti i costi.
