A gioco completo te ne dimentichi dei leak. In corso d'opera, durante l'attesa hanno maggior rilievo le notizie che escono di tanto in tanto.

L'unica fonte certa, ora come ora, è solo Game Freak. Qualsiasi notizia da parte di altri può benissimo essere vera come falsa, pertanto non è da considerarsi attendibile.

I leak creando uno stato di dubbio permettono di creare una strana atmosfera di mistero nei giochi durante il gioco si vede se i leak sono veri o falsi. Ed a quel punto uno può dire con il sorriso "lo sapevo che erano falsi" oppure "allora era vero!" È una cosa in più che ti fa godere il gioco
