NEXT GEN POKEMON GAMES CALLED PLUS AND MINUS?

A rumour has begun circulating the internet regarding the next instalment in the Pokemon franchise. The next iterations of Pokemon games are supposedly called Pokemon Plus and Pokemon Minus and are apparently in development for a future Nintendo platform. To be fair the rumour sounds rather far-fetched, but Dual Pixels claim their source has proved correct in the past. You can read all the details about the mysterious project, below.

- GameFreak were one of the first development studios inside Nintendo to receive Alpha-Prototype hardware, now have been upgraded to the Beta-Prototype hardware above.

- Have a few areas marked out, TONS of concept art traveling between Pokemon Company and Nintendo Co Ltd.

- GameFreak plans to completely overhaul the basic systems of battle, simplifying the process.

- The development team is “going to put a lot of ideas they have wanted to do for years in this gameâ€.

- Two versions already have code names, possibly final: Pokemon Plus and Pokemon Minus.

- Theme is “Old Tradition VS New Explorationâ€

New region, no name yet, is based on South East Asia with one large peninsula and many smaller islands.

- Three new starters with no names: Water evolves into Water/Steel and is a squat, teardrop shaped humanoid that has a jar filled with on its head as it evolves it grows taller and the jar bigger until it needs another set of arms to hold it on it’s head. Fire evolves into Fire/Fairy and is a tiny cute goat with fire blowing out of its horns, it’s horns and look evolves more menacing until it has curly ram like horns and a motorcycle hot-rod-like look. Grass evolves into a Grass/Electric and starts with a leap for a face with a nubby root as a body and evolves until it grows into an electric producing palm tree with each flower petal having a different face.

- The main legendary for Pokemon Plus is a Shi Foo Lion-looking Psychic/Ground-type that has multiple faces, the Pokemon Minus legendary is a Ghost/Fairy type that has two dashes for eyes and is a hurricane-like appendages with many arms and hands.

More traditional Pokemon-like gameplay will be on the Handheld controller while an all new gameplay aspect will be on the Terminal unit.

- The “Pokken Fighers†render that was teased was running on Alpha kits, Beta kits now have advance cell shading. Going for very detailed “living anime†look.

- The new “Team†villains are described as a bunch of “Sohei Zelotsâ€-types who have discovered the player’s best friend as a reincarnation of a special type of person who only is alive every 100 years. They believe the old system where people were given a Pokemon egg and they stick to that Pokemon until they die and who’s function in society dictate what role that person is. They are against the “modern†trend of Pokemon Trainers and capturing multiple Pokemon and are making a holy pilgrimage to evoke the old Legendaries to turn everything back to normal. They keep the player away from their friend, saying the special one (who can do amazing things like mega evolve Pokemon without the use of a mega ring) only love is that of Pokemon and not people. It is planned to be reveal later that for the special one to fulfill their role in society they must be mortally sacrificed to awaken the legendaries.

- Routes connection the island together are water bridges but clumps of island are connected together by underwater tunnels.

There is a “Stone Slowking†statue that is a parody of the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, Thailand.

- Many Pokemon from Hoenn and Sinnoh will make a return.

Variety of Pokemon Gyms, one is a mail system that only uses flying types and focuses on sky battles. One only uses baby Pokemon, one is implied to be a real vampire and uses Ghost and Dark Pokemon. There is also a military like leader who uses Fire and Steel Pokemon.

- The island gameplay with Gym Leaders and the Elite Four island can be played entirely on the Handheld and can be blown up on the Terminal for home play.

- New Pokemon Type similar to Shinies, no details yet on how they work but I’ve been told they “change the game significantlyâ€.

- The “Mainland†is an MMO-like environment that is exclusive to the Terminal and is shared by both versions.

- Players all over the world online can chat, trade, intermingle and experience new-updated story lines on the mainland.

- Pokemon Band is a new mechanic introduced to get people involved who do not battle, a co-operative experience where Pokemon dance and make music together to achieve the highest group score.

- Pokemon Bank are actual locations on the Mainland and Handheld areas where people can import past Pokemon, mainly from Pokemon X and Pokemon Y into the new game.

Ehm... solo a me sembra molto fake? E troppo lontana l'uscita di un nuovo gioco, e qui ci sono veramente troppe informazioni, per essere semplici rumours su giochi lontani...

Addirittura una nuova console? Omg.

Stavo giusto cercando in rete. Allora, da ciò che ho ricavato da internet, il tizio chiamato Geno (credo) può essere sia abbastanza attendibile sia inaffidabile. Attendibile perché aveva anticipato l'uscita di un remake per KH e per aver anticipato non so cosa sull'E3. Aspettiamo ulteriori notizie.

Tu ricorda che comunque, i giochi di settima sono sicuramente in sviluppo, e che i remake/3° capitolo/seguiti sono fatti dal 2° team della Game Freak...

Motivi per cui sono sicuramente fake:

-come hai detto tu, troppe informazioni. non abbiamo saputo niente di x e y per mesi e ora sappiamo quasi tutto di un gioco che non è stato nemmeno annunciato? certo, come no.

- i pokemon rimarranno sicuramente sul 3ds ancora per un bel po', almeno per un'altra generazione più eventuali remake/seguiti, quindi fake.

Tu ricorda che comunque, i giochi di settima sono sicuramente in sviluppo, e che i remake/3° capitolo/seguiti sono fatti dal 2° team della Game Freak...

Beh, di sicuro a me sembrano carine come idee, solo che è impossibile! XD Sicuramente devono prima fare il remake di Zaffiro/Rubino/smeraldo e Pokémon Z/X2/Y2.

Magari chissà , potremmo trovarci una settima generazione nel 2016.

Come abbiamo visto, il ds ha ospitato ben due generazioni, quindi quasi sicuramente questo succederà  anche su 3ds. Gli starter mi sembrano troppo superficiali, come il leggendari (che, a me più che leggendari principali mi sembrano da evento); poi troppe informazioni per due titoli che ancora non sono stati rivelati. Comunque, stanno sicuramente lavorando ad una nuova generazione, che se quest'anno usciranno i remake potrebbero uscire addirittura nel 2015.

Io mi ricordo che quando erano usciti Diamante e Perla il team principale stavo già  lavorando su Nero e Bianco. Quindi il fatto che il team principale stia lavorando sulla 7° generazione è del tutto plausibile. La trama non mi convince, mi pare troppo fantasiosa (anche se non mi dispiace), non ho ben capito le forme dei nuovi leggendari però (e dello starter d'acqua e d'erba)..... Un'altra cosa che non mi convince è come sia possibile che siano trapelate così tante informazioni che comunque, anche se fossero vere, potrebbero benissimo cambiare completamente. Sono agli inizi dello sviluppo infondo, quindi non ci troverei niente di strano. Non c'è molto da dire se non aspettare...

Prima di tutto. Chi dice "Io non li prenderò se usciranno." Tutti dicevano lo stesso per XY e ha venduto oltre 4 milioni di copie in due giorni.

Secondo, chi dice "Torneranno i Pixel?" No. Non torneranno. Semplicemente i Rumors sono di Dual Pixels.

Ed è proprio quel nome a rendermi felice. Dual Pixels è conosciuto di fama per i suoi Rumors molto spesso corretti.

E poi non dovete dimenticarvi che Nintendo è stata denunciata per ben due volte, a causa di due brevetti che non sono stati rispettati sul 3DS. Non sarebbe strano decidere di mandare Pokémon direttamente in Next Gen.
 

E io dico ciò: Preferisco questa Settima Gen. che dai Rumors promette benissimo, che un Sequel/Terzo titolo di XY addirittura ai Remake di Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, che non mi hanno mai dato emozioni come giochi.

Dove ricapiterà  un Team Nemico che vuole riportare il mondo all'antico splendore, odiando la mentalità  del mondo moderno? Un vero Team coi cosiddetti, non come tutti gli inutili Team passati. Solo Galassia e Flare sono Team decenti, con ambizioni e obiettivi veri.

Infine. Game Freak ha avuto mesi e mesi di tempo per correggere i difetti dovuti al 3D su XY, e non c'è riuscita. Già  nella Demo c'erano tali problemi. Non penso che pubblicherà  un gioco con lo stesso problema su 3DS. Dovrebbe essere miracolata e riuscire in qualche modo a correggere il problema.

Se è per questo, lavoravano a XY ancora prima che Nero e Bianco venissero rilasciati in Giappone.

Beh che dire, alcuni sembrano veramente dei rumors carini (specialmente le nuove combinazioni di tipi) però tutto il resto mi pare poco probabile .-. oddio già  i nomi mi sembrano strani (non dico che X e Y siano migliori, ma almeno abbiamo assodato che c'entrano con la tematica della generazione), quali potrebbe essere il motivo centrale di una generazione + e -? La matematica? :|

Poi concordo, sarebbe una fuga di notizie troppo grande, secondo me.
